I've had my eyes peeled for a high quality silver buckling since the beginning, and Shadowfax found me this Spring. While his beautiful silver coloring is the icing on the cake, this kid has excellent conformation and style, and his dam and sire's dam are both VEEE 91 scored in linear appraisal, as well as having their milk stars. Shadowfax's pedigree is full of consistently excellent goats that prove to pass on those traits and I can't wait to incorporate his breeding into my herd.
Shadowfax's dam, SG Baumgartner Acres VS Demi 1*M, scored 43 in RUH, 44 in Body Depth, and 41 in Dairyness. She earned her Superior Genetics denomination by ranking in the 90th percentile. Demi's milk test high is 7.2lbs with butterfat at a whopping 7.7%!
His sire's dam, GCH SouthLake Katrina 1*M, is a 5 time Grand Champion, 4 time Reserve Champion, and has won multiple Best in Show and Best Udder awards. She is also the dam of the 2018 ADGA National Show 1st Place Intermediate kid! Katrina's milk test high is 6.7lbs.
